Jackie, thanks so much - I've copied everything you and Gladys wrote to send to my SIL. But I'm coming to the conclusion that the food in 1963 must have been pretty blah, because no one seems to remember it!
Does anyone know when hippies hit the scene and started to change things? I think Woodstock wasn't until about 1969, but the hippies must have gotten started on spreading flower power before that. Any former flower children out there?
Again, thanks for your help. The birthday girl (!) is a sweetie, we'd like to make her party special. If anyone else has memories, I'd LOVE to read them!! AJ
