Goodness dear AJ. I am a child of the 60th & it was
Misc. really a matter of attittude. My generation was the product of a reaction to the 50th. We were fun loving kids that loved flowers, music & sex.
The mini skirt was invented & developed to perfection by Mary Quant in England. Discotteques were marvelous places where we danced all night & we paraded our short short skirts or long flowing gowns. Champagne was in vogue in our affluent circles & I remember that my dream was to visit the famous discottekes in New York & England to dance all night to disco music. I used long earrings & brilliant colors. Also shoes with very high heels. I used bell bottom trousers & the boys also used them with extremely tight shirts. Fashions were great & they are widely used again now. I used false eyelashes & a lot of make up in my eyes (my mother was not happy about our exagerated make up). Regarding food I really dont remember that much because it was not important in my life. I was begginning at the University & I had a marvelous boy friend who was also in olimpic basketball. HE WAS SO HANDSOME! Then Vietnam came & our boys went away to the conflict & when they returned, if they returned, they were adults. This is mainly what I remember dear AJ.
