Thank You: Thanks! Here's what I did...

I did a combination of things including your suggestions. I went to the spice
shop to get the ingredients for my dry rub recipe, found they had a rub mix of
their own and bought that instead. So much easier! If you haven't tried
Penzey's yet, wow. Great stuff - I highly recommend the Bronzeville Rub.

Anyway, "rubbed" the ribs with the spice mixture, put in a foil lined pan,
covered with foil and baked at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. At that point,
added 1/2 cup water, covered up and popped them back in the oven for another 1
1/2 hours. Sauced them - with a recipe from here somewhere - threw them on the
grill for a few minutes to char a bit and they were done.

Very easy and didn't grease up my oven either. And they were delicious!!! In
fact, they were gone before my boyfriend got off grill duty. He wasn't too
happy .....

Thanks for your input!
