Thank You: You are a Jewel among Jewels also

Misc.
Hi Kelly...hope you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. I got to see my one surviving son, Shay. Talk about a caring person. He lived in Arizona and I was in such sad shape after losing his second brother, he left his job, gave away his belongings, and moved back to Ohio to be with me. He now lives in a small rental home I own about 20 minutes ride from the farm where I live.

My sympathy, to you, on the loss of your parents; we love and lose them, and it brings our own sense of mortality into full view. Your love and kindness to them is no less in compassion than what you state mine is, and I APPLAUD YOU!

We buried our faithful dog Sport (12 yrs old) just last week; what a dear friend he was, he loved me and my husband with unswerving (sp?) dedication.

My hubby is having a new sort of injection in his one knee, today and he is not looking forward to it; but if it helps we will both be thankful.

I lived in Moscow, Idaho for five years, and really miss it there; but Ohio is lovely and my home. Are you a native of Washington state? I worked at WSU in Pullman, WA.

Hmm; maybe we could correspond by e-mail so we don't jam up these recipe boards; Betsy has my address.

Thank you for you kind words; my son Ken's birthday was the 15th of May. Well, have a long trip ahead of me this a.m. Be of good cheer. Gentle hugs to you and yours.
