Allison, we stayed on a vineyard and rented a car...

Misc.
If you do a search on this site with the words: Micha Tuscany you will probably find my journal entries that I posted here. We traveled with Untours, which is supported travel, but only supported when you want support. It included a two week stay in an apt on a vineyard, a rental car and flights from the East Coast of the states and back. They have a web page at www.untours.com I have no affiliation, etc. with them, just had a grand vacation using their service. We took the cooking/wine tour called The Tuscan Table which is offered twice in the spring. It includes some unbelievable meals, olive oil tasting/mill tour, optional wine tasting tour and a cooking class. All optional, a few couples on the same tour we never saw, they went completely their own way. We took advantage of some of the things but mostly roamed around in our rental car at will. Definately the way we like to travel!-Micha
