Another way to prevent soggy tart crusts

Hi Jan!
Yesterday I saw an episode of one of my favorite pastry chefs and he said to prevent a soggy tart crust is to bake it...then take it out...brush lightly with light corn syrup..return to oven just to dry out corn syrup...cool and use.
