Recipe: Pork and Dumplings Soup (using cooked pork and biscuit mix)

PORK AND DUMPLINGS SOUP

1 can (about 4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
1 cup sliced celery
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 cans (10 1/2 ounces each) Campbell's Condensed Old Fashioned Vegetable Soup
1 soup can water
1 cup cubed cooked pork
FOR THE DUMPLINGS:
1 cup biscuit mix
1/3 cup milk
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/8 teaspoon thyme leaves, crushed

In large saucepan, brown mushrooms and cook celery in butter until tender. Add soups, water and pork; bring to boil.

Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix, milk, parsley and thyme. Drop 5 to 6 spoonfuls on boiling soup; reduce heat. Cook uncovered over low heat 10 minutes. Cover; cook 10 minutes more.

Makes about 5 1/2 cups
