Hi Carolyn - I'll have to look for the Liberty apples -

Over the summer I noticed in the stores up north an apple called something like "Pink Lady" - can't remember the name of it - I think it was an Oregan or Washington State apple and it was pinkish/gold/green colored. It also was very good for eating. I didn't try it for cooking, but I will try the Liberty for pies if I can find them down here.
