Macs for Apple Pie -

Misc.
Hi Jackie - I haven't tried the Cortlands along with the Macs, but will the next time.

Actually, my DH loves the ALL Mac pies that I have made for him for years. He doesn't care if the apples get too soft, he prefers that to half-raw apple slices which Granny Smiths can be.

He used to get the Northern Spies somewhere down near you - maybe Springfield or Northampton at some regional farmer's market? Do you know where I'm talking about? That was the only place he could find them.

How's the weather up there - it's been very nice down here, finally got rid of the humidity and it's been breezy that past few days. I opened up the doors and windows finally!

Love - June
