bead sauce

Thanks Jadestar, I plan on trying your suggestion. I did write to the LaChoy people and they told me that bead sauce has been discontinued. They suggested using 1/2 cup molasses and 1/2 tsp. soy sauce. This is more of a coloring agent than anything else, but it added a certain sweetness too that we became accustomed to. It made fried rice look nice and hold together better. I appreciate your help. Have a happy holiday!
