Brown Sauce
Misc.I've never heard of the brown sauce you've mentioned but do have an alternative. I use Lee Kum Kee oyster sauce in a lot of my cooking. It's great in fried rice (I usually don't even have to add any salt - just pepper), chow mein, stir fries, on top of steamed vegetables. You can find this in the asian/oriental section of any supermarket. Just don't over do it when you use it, it can get salty if too much is added - a tablespoon or two should work fine.
