Continuing Cheese Rind Saga....
Misc. Jeanne, just wanted to let you know the latest on the soup making...I live 40 miles from the nearest town and didn't realize it was the sort of town that only sells Parm without rind on it! (I remember reading somewhere that the Italians feed cheese rinds to their pigs to make the meat tastier, maybe that's where these rinds went!)60 friends and relatives due for the Cookie Exchange on Saturday and I am on schedule, (even with a dental emergency today), but don't have the time to make the 90 mile (one way) run to the next bigger town where there is a Costco, Sam's Club, AJ's and Trader Joes. However, we have friends who live in the town where my husband works who will probably be making a run there this week, so they will pick some up if they go and give it to my husband, who will bring it home before Sat. This soup will certainly have love and care going into it anyway!! Will let you know the results, thanks again for all the help.
