Crabmeat

Misc.

Hi, Elly--

I've been reading your posts. It sounds like you had a great trip. Getting crab for $2.99 a pound is such a deal!!! Your Jim must really like it to get so much :-) We like it just thawed and put on top of a salad, too. Since it's already cooked, it's nice on a summer evening. If you get a chance to get stone crab, please try that. We pay local fisherman $5 a pound, and they are delicious. They aren't in season right now, but they're my favorite. Really messy--shells are as hard as their name.

Going to a crawfish/shrimp cook tonight--because our river flooded this spring, it must've pushed those crawfish here from someplace!!! Our neighbor trapped almost 200. Come on down!!!
