Better Late Than Never!

Misc.

Hi My Good Friends! I have not been as faithful as I once used to be but, doesn't mean that I don't still love TKL and all of "ya'll". With the pretty weather and outside activity with the kids I can't 'clone' myself. Anyway the world is not ready for two Janie's! I peeked in and saw where Elly posted buying a steamer. I am so pleased she posted a back-up for me on how wonderful they are. I was a bit carried away with my post of long ago but, for the price of such delightful enjoyment who wouldn't be? And YES!, $2.99/lb crablegs! Not only do I need two refrigerators but 2 freezers! Crablegs by the lbs. frozen but oh so worth it! Used to buy for 12.99/lb. So as you can see, at just a bargin anybody would stock up!I'm sorry if I never posted the simplicity of preparing them in a steamer, I thought I had. Elly is good about taking patience to explain where I get so I thrilled in the moment I leave some details to the imagination.

Now as for the George Foreman Grill.... Slicker than greased lightening! How's that for down south? Thanks to Elly and all the rest of you we are now the proud owners of one. Jim and I wrestled with the decision because, we have a water smoker and a gas grill but this is totally different and very well worth every penny! As, most of you can tell I go for big and volumn. 80lbs. crablegs and still buying so, the larger one is what we got! Hoping to drop a few pounds without trying with it and the steamer. We won't take in consideration the melted butter we have with crablegs and Japanese Mayo with artichokes! Who's counting? We are happy and eating well and love every minute of life. I don't know if anyone will read this posted so late but both of these are a must! Funny thing, Awhile back I kept reading the post about the OXY Gripper peeler. and I thought I really like what I use and wasn't interested in changing. Low and behold, I have been using one all along! Picked it up in Gatlinburg when Jim and I had the chalet and needed a peeler for that evening's meal. Looked cool, bought it and used ever since. Didn't know I had till everyone made such a big deal of it. Moral of that story ..... George Foreman Grill and Sunbeam Steamer a must! (Even if you don't see what all the big hoopla is buy them, try them!)
