Dak Gui?

Misc.
Hi Mickey,

I'm not familiar with the dish you described, but checked several Korean cooking sites and came up with the name "Dak Gui," which simply means grilled chicken pieces! A search of that term pulled up descriptions of several different sauces, including chile sauce, ginger sauce, and the same sauce that's used for Kalbi (grilled short ribs) or Bulgoki (grilled beef strips), basically a soy-sugar-sesame seeds mixture. None of the sources mentioned a bed of noodles.

Do you remember what kind of marinade the dish you liked had? If so, maybe we can re-create it!
