David, is this what you're looking for?
Misc.David, I would love to help you. For several years, I've been compiling my own nonna's recipes. What you're describing sounds like Struffoli, balls of fried dough about 1", covered with cooked honey and colored sprinkles and mounded on a plate. If this sounds like what you want, say so and I have the recipe which my family has used for many years. I have several others if this doesn't fit the bill, so describe in detail what you're looking for, especially flavor and texture.
