1 CUP PACKED BROWN SUGAR
1 CUP HONEY
1 CUP (8 OUNCES) SOUR CREAM
3 EGGS
3 CUPS ALL-PURPOSE FLOUR
2 TEASPOONS BAKING SODA
TEASPOON ANISEED
TEASPOON SALT
PREHEAT OVEN TO: 350 DEGREES
IN A MIXING BOWL, CREAM SHORTENING AND SUGAR. ADD THE HONEY, SOUR CREAM AND EGGS; BEAT WELL. COMBINE FLOUR, BAKING SODA, ANISEED AND SALT; ADD TO CREAMED MIXTURE AND MIX WELL.
DROP BY TEASPOONFULS 2" APART ONTO GREASED BAKING SHEETS. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 12 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL LIGHTLY BROWNED.
COOL ON A WIRE RACK.
