Dirt Devil Mop Vac

Misc.

I can only say that I am on an internet list about clutter and housekeeping, and the conscensus was that these mop vacs were not worth the money. People said they didn't work as well as advertised, and that they were somewhat heavy to maneuver. If she mostly needs a lightweight vac I would strongly recommend the Hoover Hornet, a small vac that is about $60 or so. I have one and even my two year old can lift it. It requires bags but they are pretty cheap and last a long time(I hate dirt cups). It is much preferable in my experience than any broom style vac I have ever used. I LOVE mine. My sister recommends "the Wonder Mop" that they sell on tv, and probably in stores now, for mopping. I use a regular mop with a really good mop pail that has a wringer. I don't have personal experience with the Dirt Devil Mop Vac, as I said, but I have found that the people on my list usually are right about things!

Hope this helps.
