Dried Beef?

Misc.

Can anyone tell me how to make that old dried beef and gravy recipe? Haven't had it in so long, and I know what they say about it, but I guess there's something to be said about the foods we were raised on.......still love that dish. Over toast or rice...........now there's a recipe from yesteryear. And do you rinse the beef before you cook it? Once in awhile you have to go off the old healthy diet, if your craving something real bad. I'll walk an extra mile.
Thanks.
