Fact: White 'chocolate' isn't chocolate

If you think about it, some hand and body lotions contain cocoa butter, but you sure wouldn't call them chocolate, would you? LOL

According to the Cook's Thesaurus, both milk chocolate and white chocolate are made of cocoa butter, sugar, milk, and vanilla. The only difference is that white chocolate doesn't have any cocoa solids. The FDA won't let American producers label a product "chocolate" unless it has those cocoa solids. And by the way... Did you know that white 'chocolate' morsels are so notoriously hard to melt because they contain even less cocoa butter than white chocolate baking squares?
