Has anyone "heard" from Jen?

Misc.

Has anyone "heard" from Jen, the one whose baby was due the 12th? Hope everything went well... (Like has time to surf the net!!)

I'm here working from home (telecommuting), and since work is slow, I'm spending a lot of time just surfing. (They pay me to be here, even if they can't keep me busy. But when I'm busy, hoo-wee, am I BUSY!) There's just me here, so it's nice to have company!

I have to agree with you all -- this site is great! What a great excuse for not dusting the living room! In theory, I'm "at work", so usually no one expects me to do anything domestic. With this slow down, I'm starting to feel guilty. Maybe I'll just put the vacuum in the middle of the living room carpet! Y'all are my roll models!

S.

p.s. My tip: to make nice tea sandwiches from nut bread, cut a very thin slice off of the loaf, spread cream cheese on the loaf, glue the first slice back on, and cut off the "sandwich". You can make 1/4-inch-thick sandwiches this way. Cut the sandwich in half to make cookie-sized pieces. My SIL was so impressed that she now thinks I'm Martha Stewart.
