help with muffins

Misc.

I'm attempting to copy a bran muffin recipe I was given by the manager of a restaurant. I've gotten the proportions down, but I need suggestions for how to make these muffins look better. The muffins at the restaurant are huge...they look like they've been baked in tiny flower pots. And, they are taller than they are round. Any suggestions anyone? Has anyone ever baked quickbreads in stoneware as opposed to metal? I know this message may seem really odd, but I'm just trying to be creative and get these muffins right! They are awesome, but the appearance is half of it!
