Hi Jeanne - Long time no hear!

Misc.
Hi Jeanne - I'm feeling so much better now, finally. It took over a month and a half to feel back to normal.

Yes, we'll be heading back to Cape Cod early June, and this year, at the end of the summer, mid-September, actually, DH and I are making a trip from Cape Cod up to Nova Scotia, P.E.Is, Newfoundland, etc. before heading back south.

(Maybe we'll escape the majority of the hurricane season that way!)

I miss my huge old grapefruit tree that used to be in my back yard. Not only did it have wonderful fruit, but it was our protection against having our cross-canal neighbors be able to look directly into our kitchen window in the evenings! We just had a drapery company come and measure for a honey-comb shade for our big double sliding kitchen window pass-thru to the lanai yesterday - Yikes - close to $450 just for a shade like that, but we don't have a choice at this point, since we both tend to run around in our PJs (or less) after dinner and it's very noticeable from across the canal (We can see in THEIR windows, now, too! But they seem to stay DRESSED during the evenings!)LOL

Good to hear from you! I'm hoping that last summer was a one time fluke, since we hadn't had any hurricane of signicance for 40 years prior in the Ft. Myers area!

Hugs, June
