I have a Mr. Coffee...

Misc.

Hi Verla,

I have a Mr. Coffee and it has worked just fine for me. I have had it about 2 years. It is the one voted "Consumer Reports Best Buy". It makes 12-cups and has an automatic programmable timer, so you can program the timer at night and wake up to the smell of freshly-brewed coffee! There is a little digital clock for the timer, you can program it for anytime you want, using the hour and minute buttons. For safety, it will turn itself off after 2 hours (there is also a manual on/off switch).

It's quite easy to clean. I use disposable paper filters. I haven't had any dripping problems with it. The glass carafe is clearly marked to measure the water levels easily. I *think* it's called the Accel PRX model (it's NOT the regular Accel model). It comes in black, white, dark blue and dark green.

Sorry, I can't remember the exact model number, I'm in the middle of moving and mine is packed away somewhere! I can tell you early next week if you want. The model is listed in the Consumer Reports Book, so go look in a bookstore! I got mine at Wal-Mart for $29, about $10 cheaper than Sears. Hope this helps. Good luck! :)
