I love Mexican food, too, June!

Misc.
one of the hightlights of my recent (week before last) trip to Puerto Vallarta was cruising the grocery store isles (each to her own!), finding stuff to bring back home. That you are allowed to bring back, fo course.

I got several tins of salsa verde (made from tomatillos), 2 litres of vanilla, chipotles (fire-roasted jalapenos) in adobo, and a chipotle mayo. Man, I wish I knew if you could bring back dried hot peppers. There was a huge display of them; I know you can bring cinnamon (dried tree bark), I HAVE to find out before I go again, they were amazing!

The jury is still out whether Ed would like Indian or not. It's hard to predict, as it is quite distinctive. I just couldn't say!

have a great day,

Carolyn!
