I, too have heard that re: Mexican vanilla. There sure are a LOT of brands to choose from. I do my best to find the most expensive (and therefore most reliable) brands. One I bought after checking about for the "best" kind with several vendors. The other, I bought at Walmart, which I hope stands behind the quality.

Altho I am a gringa, I do speak Spanish, so I kind of figure after a minute or two of talking with me, the vendors might abandon any hope of taking any advantage of my gringa-ness.

Or maybe that's just my own personal delusion...who knows?

Will you show me your BBQ pantomime sometime? I would love to see it! :-)!!
