Judy, to be perfectly honest,
Misc.we didn't care for the taste of the cookies. They are very sweet, and extremely dry and crumbly. I wound up taking them for our Easter dinner with family, (the recipe makes alot!!) and they were not a big hit there either. However, because of the story and the importance, I plan to continue making these every year with my boys. The cookies do turn out very well, and if you like a merangue type cookie they are quite good.
