June & Elly: Re: Funny, You Should Mention:

Misc.

Hi Girls, Oh, yes when "they" are right! I was mentioning this miracle cloth last night. June mentioned a tarnish remover and Jim reminded me about my "MIRACLE CLOTH"! HA .. Was in the beauty shop one day, excited lady threw open the front door and exclaimed to my beautician that the "rags" have arrived. She stopped right in the middle of my perm (another story, I ended up looking like a french poodle!) Anyway, She was selling these 'miracle rags, that all you needed was HOT water to clean anything! No streaks on mirrors or windows, remove tar from cars, remove tarnish from any sliver, remove any stain from any surface, remove lime dep. from bathroom, dust any furniture without dust reappearing for 2 weeks, ON AND ON! My beautician stopped and started cleaning everything in sight. Oooooing & Ahhhhing. I reminded her 2 times about my 'head', with no avail she bought 4 right then and there. Started pitching it to me and I bought one not sure whether it was out of amassment or desperation. They were $20.00 each and full money back guarantee! I came home and cleaned everything I find just to test it hoping to prove it wrong and DID! I started with my silver. NOPE old fashion way better! Bottom line I hated it and missed the fresh smell of the cleaning products I was used to using. It had some type of fiber woven in it that was acctivated with hot water and it worked ok but not like what this lady said. Needlees to say that rag cost me more than $20.00. I had a horrible mess on my head that cost over $100.00 to fix and am still trying to get my initial $20.00 back! Another Jim," TOLD YOU SO"S... Ha! The can opener deal was not quite the temptation after that although our son thought it would be great for me and I told him my Black and Decker was wonderful and I'd be happy with it for a long while.
