Hi Katie!
As far as I know, this is an English recipe and I may be wrong but I've been told the name came from a town in England. Anyway, they are similar to cinnamon buns that we all know but they are a little heavier, more like the "St. Cinnamon Buns". They are best eaten fresh and soooo good that there won't be any leftovers anyway!
I have seen the recipe often just called "Sticky
Buns".
Hope this answers your ?
