latte cake - 3 layer

I would try making 1-1/2 times the cake batter and baking the recipe in 3 round layer cake pans.(may need to adjust baking time to facilitate 3 layers that would be a bit thinner tha 9x13 cake pan. Poke holes and soak each layer with mixture- frost each layer or put together and just frost top layer.
