were American Lamb. Karen had noted her Mom always said it was better and I think it is more available now than it has been in the past. These chops were so tender.

Micha, I think I am looking forward to hearing about your trip almost as much as you are anticipating going. Also looking forward to your posting some of your Mom's recipes. I know someone who lives in Prescott, but I have only been to Phoenix and Tucson and that was years ago. I still remember burning my hand on a car door. It must have been 115 degrees when we were in Phoenix. I don't care whether it is dry heat or not, that is hot!

Visited someone in Tuscon once. It was so hot they took us up Mt. Lemon (?) where it was only about 90 degrees, lol. I still remember the a/c system they had, called a swamp cooler. Very effective. I love the southwest, though, the wide open spaces, culture and especially the food!
