Recipe: Banana Split Bars (Using Biscuit Mix)

BANANA SPLIT BARS

1 1/2 cups reduced-fat biscuit mix
3/4 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup honey
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips (or carob chips)
1/2 cup chopped pecans
9 maraschino cherries

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly coat a 9-inch square cake pan with cooking oil spray.

Combine biscuit mix, yogurt, honey and banana in a large mixing bowl. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Arrange cherries on top in three rows of three.

Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven, cover with foil and cool.

Makes 9 bars
