I have heard of Figgy Pudding but not the others. I'll ask my Brit hubby if they ring a bell. Perhaps you should try Mrs. Beetons cookbook. I believe it is turn of the century...By the way, could you please tell me more about the books (Golden Age of Sail). My DH loves to sail.
