so, my friend, it is I who thank you! And I hope you like the soup...if someone says vegetable soup, baby, I am there!

Years ago, I remember see the young women who wrote these two cookbooks being interviewed. They were telling a cute story about how they were raising money to launch their book. Something about a garage sale, which included one of the sisters' wedding dress out on the front lawn with the rest of the garage sale bargains!

I used to have Crazy Plates, but every once in a while I have to do a cull (cookbook crazy, that's me!), and I think it did not make the cut. And I got this broccoli soup recipe from a friend who has the Looneyspoons book; she made it for me once for lunch, and I was hooked. She gave me the recipe (obviously).

But anyway, please do share any recipes you try...what I do remember is, they are all full of flavour.
