Micha, the lasagna was really good...but a lot of work!

Misc.
I don't know how you did it by yourself, I had my faithful sous chef washing dishes and whisking sauces for me. Dinner was late this evening. I did have all the called for ingredients, went to Sam's this afternoon for baby salad greens and got some fresh mozzarella for it. Now I have to come up with a recipe using the remainder of it. I did use the Del Verde brand no boil lasagne sheets. I got worried about them getting soft and soaked them in warm water for three or four minutes and they worked great. Made them easy to cut to fit a dish, because I made half the recipe and used a slightly larger than 8x8 inch which meant the square sheets werent quite large enough. I'm sure your jack cheese worked fine. Did your husband like it? I loved the porcini bechamel sauce.
Have you ever made a porcini, sort of cream, sauce for pasta? I love that, but it is rich.
