Musty books

Misc.

Hi, BB. This sounds funny but it really works. Take your book, place it in a large plastic trash bag and then pour enough kitty litter over and under it to completely cover it. Seal it up and leave it for a few days.

I imaginge you could try putting the kitty litter into a large container and then open the book up and lay it on top of the litter, then seal the container for a few days to a week.

I did this with a flea market find that was very musty. It had a bit of residual odor that was eliminated by putting a scented bookmark in the book.

Anyhow, hope this helps.
