Misc.
Thank you for your responses, at the moment I am just gathering ideas to present to my friend. At the moment it is not going to be a sit down affair and about 200 invitations are being sent out. If half of the approximately 400 people show it, it will be a lot of food. I like the casserole ideas, if I have enough oven space. I will be traveling to the site and am looking for some things that can be prepared ahead and frozen. I have done many of the things you all have suggested for family get togethers and they work quite well. Jackie, you like I am sure Page and many of the others collect cookbooks. I have both the ones you mentioned in my collection. Thank you so much again and if you think of more, let me know, I am so compulsive, I like to have everything thought out, with list made out, plan of action, and be ready months in advance. I drive my friend nuts because she is more laid back and waits till it is a must. Will let you know what we decide and how it turns out.
