Recipe: Suggestions for 10:00 wedding reception - Some other suggestions for Patsy, LA

Patsy, you did say that this was not a sit down meal or reception so I am wondering whether hot casserole dishes would work or are even an option??!? I was thinking that deviled eggs, fruit kabobs, and/or chilled shrimp with cocktail sauce might be something to consider, as well as some fancy finger sandiwiches and a vegetable tray or platter. Or how about beef and chicken Teriyaki threaded on wooden skewers served at room temperature or hot from habachi's (?sp.)? Gazpacho or cold fruit soup of some type, served in cups, might also be nice. And, last but not least, consider that wonderful Whipped Cream Chicken Salad that Verla posted so long ago, served in either cherry tomatoes or slightly larger Compari tomato cups (or cut part way through so they open up like a star with the salad inside.) I hope that his has given you a few more ideas, Patsy. Let us know what you decide to serve. If I think of any other ideas, I will certainly post them.
