Hi Patty--

Really strange--but then I got out my book again and the recipe is from a lady in Marietta! Maybe that recipe got passed around a lot.

I don't think I originally got it out of the '96 edition--think it was a much earlier one, but when Sandy said she found it in the last few years I was only looking there. After it started sounding pretty familiar (who can forget 6 cloves of garlic?) I got my written recipe out and it was the same.

Anyway I think we'll both agree it's the best darned pork roast ever, huh?
