Penny, Your Spinach Lasagna Sounds Great!

Misc.
Hi Penny!

If you have a chance, can you post your recipe for the Spinach and Ricotta Lasagna? It sounds like one I would like to make at home. I bet it was delicious!!

I have been detailing my home since Monday....today I scrubbed down the pool deck, diving board, tables and chairs, watered all the hanging plants, re-potted geraniums, wiped down the porch and cleaned out the garden books bookstand (uuuggh, that green stuff was all over), wiped down all the porch tables and wicker furniture and cleaned off the screens.

This morning I vacuumed, swept and mopped all the tile floors, moved all the furniture around in the family room, cleaned and shined all the granite counter-tops, arranged fresh flowers, polished all the wood cabinets, ironed DH's dockers, made the beds, cleaned all the bathrooms, washed the bathroom rugs, dusted the furniture and burned a CD for my Mom. It is now 3:30 and it feels soooooo good to sit down and just relax for a little while.

Tomorrow I have to plant this beautiful rose bush I found at Publix, it is full of buds and flowers. It is the lovliest shade of blush pink.

As for the recipe I use for lasagna, I use the one I have posted here before, Maria Berlin's Ultimate Lasagna. This was the lasagna served to us at a dinner party and it is the best. It stands on it's own, doesn't slip, slide away and the flavor is incredible.

I will be serving that, salad, garlic bread, sliced tomatoes drizzled in olive oil and balsamic vinegar and Strawberry Napoleans for dinner on Saturday.

I will post it all tomorrow. My friend Margie has got me on this flower kick...she has an incredible knack for arranging flowers by contrasting colors and I love to have flowers around the house...

Ooops, there's Mama, wondering when I'm going back into the trenches!!!

Talk to you later! Gina
