pickled eggs

Misc.
Somebody, anybody!
Please help me how do I make old fashioned pickled eggs? I have tried boiling the eggs, then shelling, then soaking in pickling spirits for up to 2 months and they just don't come out right. Someone please help, marriage on the line! (only kidding!) Please post here and and to me.
