PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDIES
"Soft, chewy and delicious."
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Argo Baking Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup Karo Light or Dark Corn Syrup
2 eggs
1 teaspoon Spice Islands Pure Vanilla Extract
2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt in a large medium bowl; set aside.
Beat peanut butter, butter and sugar together in a large bowl with mixer at medium speed until smooth. Blend in corn syrup, eggs and vanilla. Reduce mixer speed; beat in flour mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips. Spread in ungreased 13x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
Makes 24 bars
