Re: Can it be true?...

When my husband caught some grouper and brought it home, he was told when it was cleaned to hold it up to the light and check for worms. If they are there, supposedly they can be seen, to be removed. I don't know if it is really true, but I checked fish I bought that way for a long time. Had forgotten about it until I read your post. Perhaps someone will know more about this. Had only heard about it in grouper. I think they are referred to as "parasites" as a less disgusting connotation.
