Re: Glazed nuts
Misc. Here's a delicious glazed nut recipe using Pecans...
3 cups pecan halves
2 T corn oil margarine
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar, divided
Preheat oven to 250, in a 13x9x2 inch baking pan, place pecans and toast for 5 minutes or until golden brown. In a 2 qt. saucepan, melt margarine over medium heat. Stir in corn syrup and 1/4 cup of the sugar. Stir constantly and bring to a boil, then boil without stirring for 5 more minutes. Pour this syrup over the pecans coating them evenly. Bake for 1 hour, stirring several times. Sprinkle with remaining sugar after done, toss to coat evenly. Immediately spread out on a greased baking sheet to cool. Enjoy!
