I do this for a living and all you need to do is to put each layer on it's own cake base (round cardboard the same size as your layer) then put several wooden dowels 4-5 in each layer. This will give you complete stability and make serving a snap. You can remove the top layer for the bride and groom and serve down from there. I will try to post a serving chart for you to use for the cutting as well. Good luck, and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me!
