Back when my kids were still living at home I made some with potato after my mom said she needed a recipe because Dad raved about his sister's cooking. I don't remember what else I had put in it. But with 5 kids, a friend or two, plus occasional stepkids (there are 3) visiting with us I didn't often go to the trouble of cooking special dishes. I had forgotten what it was like except that we did like it quite a bit. I was just thinking that it's past time I made some gnocci again. It's just my hubby & me at home now. (Heck, if I made it with dog food he'd like it because I made it.)
