re: Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid is not always derived from dairy- and in a kosher certified dairy free food, it would not be. The best thing to do would be to call the company to confirm that it is not; but it is not necessary to dismiss products just because you see lactic acid on the label (and in fact, they must list (milk) in parantheses if that is the source.
