I just made 10 lbs. of mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving and as I'm sure you know, it doesn't go too far. I made it for appx. 16 people planning for leftovers as well. I'd say, if we'd had maybe 6-8 more, they would have been gone. So say 10 lbs. feeds maybe 25 in my opinion (as I had many w/ second helpings) depending on what kind of eaters you have on your hands. Good luck- peeling is one of my least favorite things to do!
