Re: Request Beef stroganoff recipe

Misc.
This is the recipe my mom made for me growing up. It's wonderful!

Beef Stroganoff

2# boneless round steak, sliced very thin
1 - 2 cans mushroom pieces with liquid
salt and pepper to taste
dash of paprika
2 to 3 T. margarine
2 T. oil
2 med. Onions, sliced
dash of white pepper
24 oz. Sour cream

Brown the round steak in oil in large skillet, Add
mushrooms salt and black pepper, white
Pepper and cook until meat is tender. Remove
Meat mixture from skillet and set aside. In
skillet, melt margarine, and add onions, cook
until onions are soft, and add paprika. Add
Meat mixture back in skillet and add sour
cream, stir until heated. Don't boil.Serves 6
