Recipe: Fried Chicken Oriental (using soy sauce and lemon, Wesson, 1960's)

I frying chicken, cut up
Wesson oil to depth of 1-inch in skillet
2 green onions, chopped
1 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 lemon, sliced
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. brown sugar
Brown chicken in oil. Remove chicken and drain off all but 2 tablespoons oil and browned bits. Brown onions lightly.
Add remaining ingredients, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
Replace chicken, cover and simmer 10 minutes or until done.
Makes 4 servings
